Tommi, Cabforce CPO, shares his experience of travelling

Working as a Chief Product Officer at Cabforce, I spend a lot of time on the road and get to see many new places. I enjoy this – but only to a certain extent. While exploring new destinations around the world is truly exciting, some realities of traveling are really a nuisance. I like the buzz at the airports, but the security control queues are a nightmare. And the airports are full of other things that take your time and energy away!

My ambition is to make international travelling easier, less time consuming and just generally more convenient  – that’s why I like our product so much :). I wanted to share with you some highlights of Cabforce service.

  1. When I book my flights and hotels, I can get the airport transfers from the same system, directly linked to my itinerary. I save time, because I don’t need to find my flight numbers  or enter passenger details again later. My payment details are stored too, so it’s really just a few clicks to book.
  2. When arriving to the airport  with my pre-booked and pre-paid taxi, I don’t need to spend time in the rush of the drop-off zone waiting for the taxi driver to process my credit card payment. It’s just stop and go!
  3. When landing to  the airport, the driver is there waiting for me. I don’t have to search for a taxi rank, queue or try to find a taxi that accepts credit cards and understands where I’m heading.
  4. Eventually the travel expenses accumulate and I need to file my expense report. This is where “I like Cabforce” turns into “I love Cabforce”. That’s because they were all included in our travel agency payments, and I never need to spend a single second sorting out unclear receipts or wondering how much money I’m losing with the receipts I did not save. For the companies preferring to use individual credit cards, Cabforce is still better than a normal taxi. The receipt is electronic and in your local currency. Simple.

Introducing Cabforce OneView – new multi-channel view of all agency bookings

All Cabforce bookings made by an agency and it’s customers are now visible in OneView – regardless of the booking channel

In today’s hectic environment of a business travel agency, large number of customer contacts to a service team are not only related to making new bookings, but to rebooking and modifying existing travel itineraries. Moreover, travel agents are also required to manage all customer bookings efficiently, whether the booking channel is a corporate online booking tool or a service team.

  1. Eurostar is the high-speed train service linking St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International, Ashford International, Paris, Brussels, Lille, Calais, Disneyland Resort Paris, Avignon and the French Alps.

Last year we partnered with Amadeus to bring Cabforce Taxis and Airport Transfers to travel agents’ desktops. Cabforce’s integration with Amadeus Selling Platform service helps travel agents take the complexity and uncertainty out of door to door travel. With just a few clicks they are now able to pre-book taxis and transfers for their travellers just as they book flights and hotels. Our global rollout is moving with the fast pace, as we are making life easier for the 400,000 agents worldwide, who use the Amadeus Selling Platform.

Today we are proud to announce that Cabforce Taxis and Transfers are now also a part of Amadeus m-Power app, a comprehensive end-to-end mobile solution, which makes it possible for the travel agencies to accompany their travellers at every step of the trip and reach them any time with pre-trip, on-trip and post-trip services. m-Power travel app allows travellers, for example, to instantly access the trip information, efficiently manage itineraries on the go, organise flights, share experience with friends, and store personal details and preferences.
